As the Dead Sea evaporates the salt and minerals are absorbed into the mud at the bottom of the sea. Apply Dead Sea Mud to your skin allowing it to dry. Rinse off using warm water and moisturize.

Dead Sea Mud Soap
Using Dead Sea Mud soap on a regular basis helps by sloughing off the dead skin cells and exposing the healthy and clean skin layer. Dead Sea Mud soap may also ease skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, itching and dry skin. The mild exfoliation of the Dead Sea mud makes this a hard working soap for smoothing rough body skin.

Base Ingredients

19.2 oz Coconut oil (30%)
19.2 oz Olive oil (30%)
12.8 oz Palm oil (20%)
6.4 oz Cocoa Butter (10%)
3.2 oz Castor oil (5%)
1.92 oz Grapeseed oil (3%)
1.28 oz Shea Butter (2%)
12.65 oz Water (42% Lye Solution)
9.161 oz Lye (5% Superfat)

4 TBSP Dead Sea mud (wet)

Tips & Hints when using Dead Sea Mud in Cold Process soap:

1 Tablespoon per lb of oils
Incorporate the Dead Sea Mud into your oils before adding you lye water. Combine hard and soft oils in soap pot. Stick blend together.
Add your Dead Sea Mud one tablespoon at a time and stick blend after each addition. (Your oils will turn gray once the Dead Sea Mud is incorporated)
When the Dead Sea Mud is fully combined add the lye water and bring your mixture to trace.
Please remember to check to see if any Dead Sea Mud has settled at the bottom of your soap pot.
When adding at trace, take out a portion of raw soap and incorporate the Dead Sea Mud. Swirl as usual.
