New Essential Oil: Zdravetz
Origin: BULGARIA
Zdravetz, Geranium macrorhizum, referred to as true geranium, has a strong floral aroma. This oil is an excellent fixative and is used primarily in the perfume industry. Blends beautifully with Rose, Geranium, Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang, Labdanum, Sandalwood, Lavender, Bergamot, Oakmoss and citrus oils. It is used primarily in the perfume industry. This oil has been used extensively in Bulgaria where it is known for its aphrodisiac properties and for its balancing effects on female hormones.
Esther's Anointment, A Lover's Perfume
Ingredients:
7 drops vanilla absolute
7 drops sandalwood essential oil
4 drops rose absolute
3 drops ylang ylang essential oil
2 drops frankincense essential oil
2 drops geranium absolute
1 drop zdravetz essential oil
Blending Procedure:
- Combine the aromatic oils in a 1/4 ounce bottle of jojoba oil. Allow to mellow for a few weeks before using.
- This is a perfume, not a skincare product. It should be used in small quantities on pulse points such as wrists, behind the ears and knees and between the breasts. Enjoy! (Recipe from Make Your Own Cosmetics)
