All orders, within Canada are shipped via FedEx – Ground, Canpar or Canada Post – Expedited. US & International orders are shipped via USPS. Sorry, we do not ship COD. All shipping charges are subject to verification by Saffire Blue Inc.

We do our best to ensure that your product is packed and will be delivered safely. However, on occasion, the contents can show signs of damage without the box showing signs of damage. Please be sure to inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If, for any reason the box has any signs of damage, do not accept the package. Return items in the original box so we may assess the problem. Contact us immediately if you refuse shipment. If you decide to keep the damaged parcel, we will require you to return to us, COD, the unusable/damaged item(s). Products will be replaced upon arrival at our warehouse. All claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt of package.

Cancellations

Our orders are processed promptly. Orders cancelled after they have been filled will be charged a 15% restocking fee. The actual amount of time will vary depending upon the season, but in most cases the order will have undergone processing in less than three hours.

Shipping

While we make every attempt to ship products by the next working day, this is not always possible, especially during busy periods. Be assured that your parcel will be given our best attention and will be shipped as soon as possible. Saffire Blue Inc. takes no responsibility for any loss, damages, or delay that may occur during shipment.
We ship from our warehouse in Courtland, Ontario Canada. United States and International orders are shipped from Port Huron, Michigan
If, for any reason, your package is returned to us you will be responsible for further shipping charges.
Customers own shipping - if you prefer to use your own shipping company, firstly select 'Pickup at Warehouse' as your shipping option, secondly, we will advise customer of preparedness of order, it is then up to you to make all shipping arrangements according to our opening hours.
International shipping
1) Please place your order online. This way we can capture your address and payment information in a secure manner (with you typing in the address).
2) If you pay by credit card, that is easiest. We will not charge your credit card for the extra shipping costs until you approve an option below. If you pay by Paypal, we will send you a request for payment through Paypal. A shipping quote example is below. Your order is packed and ready to go. Here are your shipping options:
International Post Express Mail (3-5 days): $30.00. You have already paid $5.50 and would owe an additional $24.50.
International Post Priority Mail (8-10days): $12.00. You have already paid $5.50 and would owe an additional $6.50.
International Post Surface Mail (4-6 weeks): $7.50. You have already paid $5.50 and would owe an additional $2.00.
International Express mail includes tracking and insurance. Priority mail and surface mail does not.
Please decide how you would like it shipped and let us know and we will charge your credit card the appropriate amount.

Bulk Shipping Items

On all large bulk items - pails of vegetable oil, boxes/drums of butter, sacks of salt, clays etc. - these heavy items will be packed seperately and costed accordingly.

Packaging

Saffire Blue Inc. makes no warranty that these items are fit for any particular purpose. Due to different combinations of ingredients, in particular active ingredients and essential oils, certain plastics can react poorly with your products and become defective. Customer assumes all risk that products purchased will be suitable for their intended use.

Legal Compliance

The user of the product is solely responsible for compliance with all laws and regulations applying to the use of the products, including intellectual property rights of third parties.

Returns
|

All product returns require an authorization number. This number must be displayed on the outside of the box.
- Close and firmly seal the package
- Affix an address label to the package
- Make sure all items are packed well and in re-sellable condition
Credit/refund will be issued upon verification of above
Please note:
- All refunds are given in the form of a credit note less a 15% restocking fee.
- Orders that are paid for and cancelled will be subject to a $10 fee.
- Saffire Blue Inc. reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
- Authorization must be sought and received before items are returned.

Special Orders

Please be advised that all special orders must be pre-paid in full, at time of order.

We accept the following forms of payment: Business Cheques, Money Orders, PayPal, E-Mail Money Transfers, Mastercard, Visa and American Express. Payment by debit card is available for pick up orders only.
All NSF Cheques will be subject to a $50 charge.

Back Orders
|

Back orders are not automatically shipped. Regular ordering policies will apply on arrival of restocked item. We will send you notification of any item that is out of stock. You will have the option of waiting for the arrival of the out of stock item or cancelling this item and reordering at a later date.

Samples

We do not ship samples, independent of orders. Offering "Free" Samples (and shipping for those samples) merely means that the cost will be absorbed into our product line, raising the prices. We offer affordable 1oz. sizes, perfect for testing.

Incorrect Addresses, Non-Deliverable, or Refused Shipments
|
|

Please make certain that the shipping address you provide is correct. If a customer makes an address error, the customer is responsible for additional delivery charges. If we make an error, then we will absorb the additional fees. Couriers will often charge $10.00 for even the smallest address corrections. We will in turn pass this charge to you. Packages returned to us marked ‘Refused’, ‘Unclaimed’, or ‘Invalid Address’ will be credited back to the customers credit card, less a 15% restocking fee, and all shipping costs.
