The service I received at Saffire Blue was great. I had someone answer my inquires, fast shipping and a good quality, nicely boxed package. I found that the order was organized carefully with lots of Styrofoam (nothing broken, nothing damaged) around. I really couldn’t have asked for more in the service. I hope that the standards are kept and that you make even more products available with this great service! As a small piece of advice I think that although your site is really easy, pretty and functional (love the product description and uses, really helpful), it would be beneficial for you to have more, bigger and more glamorous product preview pictures. I know, for a fact that new customers love to see the actual photo of the product (maybe to have something to fantasize about, lol).

Hello,
I wanted to say thank you very much for all the great products that Saffire
Blue offers.
I have received rave reviews of my soaps and oils since I started using your
fragrances. Beyond the wonderful fragrances and large selection of quality
ingredients, the prices are also very reasonable.
The only thing I would have changed was the price of shipping (which used to
be quite expensive), but you have already done that, too! I now have no
reason to purchase from any other soap supplier.

Dear Saffire Blue:
I started making handmade soap after receiving some for a Christmas Gift
last December. I ordered some books and researched how to make cold
processed soap. After beleiving that this would be something I could do I
began searching the internet for soap making supplies in Canada and found
that Saffire Blue seemed to be the best company to start with.
Your website was easy to scroll through, the online ordering is easy and
fast. Saffire Blue products and ingredients are explained in easy to follow
terms. Your prices are very reasonable as well as your shipping costs.
The service is excellent, I receive my order within two to three days and I
am always excited to see my Canpar driver at the door. He is really
friendly too.
My soaps have turned out fantastic and I am now selling them in a shop here
in Thunder Bay. Saffire Blue has helped me to turn a hobby into a little
business which I hope will grow in the near future as I plan to start up my
own little shop of soap and things.
There is no need to go anywhere else for my soap making supplies Saffire

Dear Susan,
I wanted to let you know that I was pleasantly surprised when I received my order. I have been using aromatherapeutical products, such as essential oils, hydrosols, carrier oils, etc, for a very long time and I have dealt with lot of different companies in North America. My point being is that I recognize quality and authenticity when I see it. The hydrosols that I just received are the real thing. They are true to the plant from which they originated. Hydrosols have an earthy, almost raw quality that is actually a benchmark. The ones I received are beautiful specimens. The rose hydrosol I received is like a light version of Rose Otto and rightfully so because that is how they are formed: through the production of hydrodistilled rose essential oil. All of them are simply delightful (and I do not exaggerate). The castor oil is actually cold pressed and unrefined!!! But I could not anticipat this because this information was not listed in the website. It was a spectacular surprise. I was very pleased with this specimen. It smell slightly sweet with some nut nuances. I casually wanted to place a larger order of your carrier oils but I assumed that all of your carrier oils were refined (because there was no information listed regarding this point), I think I made the wrong assumption. The rose wax is solid luxury. I had bought before from you another rose wax with an attractive orange color, excellent quality. This one is green, which is the most common color for rose wax and is top quality too.
I would say that 90% of the customers that buy natural products for cosmetic or therapeutical applications consider that it is very important to have all the information regarding the products, especially the features that are desired for application in the therapeutical/cosmetic area. Allow me to explain with more detail what I mean. For example, physiotherapists want to know whether or not a carrier oil to be used for body massages is organic or sprayed with toxic compounds , if the oil have been refined, the country of origin, etc. The reason behind this is that the ‘history’ of the product gives information about the product properties. For body oils, I do not use refined oils because the refining process eliminates all the phytochemicals that possess therapeutical properties such as vitamins, proteins, antioxidant acidic compounds, amines and phenols (which are all molecules responsible for color and/or odor. Usually in Nature color = antioxidant properties, pleasant fruity odor = relaxation and/or analgesic properties). We all want to buy specimens that are as raw as possible, as genuine as possible. Of course, there are cases in which purification is desired (such as in the case of shea butter) but most the time, the raw carrier oils are the best option (including for soap making). I believe that it is very important for users to have all the information so we can make good decisions. As I said, I did not buy more of your selection of carrier oils because I did not have enough information about them. I would like to see this information listed in your website. I consider that it is important to have listed the following information: country of origin, production method including the purification/refining technology used if applicable, botanical name, chemotype if available. This not only guides the customer throughout the decision making process but also speaks about the quality level of the company. For example, if a company bottles essential oils in clear/transparent bottles, I will not buy from them because obviously they do not know the basics of this trade. I will automatically think that the quality of their items is not assured. These details might seem just details but they are not, they are tremendously important to reassure quality and provide the foundation for a loyal clientele.
Please, consider to add the history of the products in the corresponding webpage. Consider to list country of origin, production method, botanical name, some brief description of color and odor, etc. For the beautiful bottles I received, I forgot to order the tops, include a reminder about this, it will increase the total payment for the order.
Now, I did not like the honey lip flavor. It did not really smell or taste like honey, not even reminiscent. It tastes like some cough syrup with a hint of alcohol. I actually hate it. Nonetheless, I knew that I was taking a risk ordering this item. It is very hard to reproduce natural flavors. Nevertheless, this is just a minor problem. Honestly, I could not care less. The quality of the other products was so consistently spectacular that the quality of this product is totally irrelevant in the whole. I am just telling you this to give you a feedback regarding this product in particular. If I have to rank my satisfaction with this order using a scale from 0 to 100, my rank is 200.
As a suggestion, I would like to see some labels with colored letters. The artwork is nice, simple and elegant, I like it, but the black color made it look rather amateur. You could use ( on the same white labels) egg shell color letters, pastel colors and if you use the saving option for the printer settings, you will not have extra expenses for ink. Instead of bold letters, just increase a little bit the letter size to replace the bold letter type, which actually require more ink than the regular or the italics does.
Please, keep the excellent work. If possible, send me the list of the carrier oils that are not refined. I cannot wait to place another order.

I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful service...I ordered from your site for the first time, and I was very pleased. It was during the holidays, so I called the store to track the package, and the person on the phone was very helpful and polite. She told me that the package would probably arrive that day, and it did. I couldn't wait to get it home and open it! (I'm a bit new to soap making.) I have been quite busy since you sent the order. It arrived and I am very pleased with the foil and scoops. They will make a great addition to my salts. This is my first year in business and it has really taken off - certainly faster than I could have dreamt. We only have one other soaper here on Manitoulin and they do Melt and Pour.
Myr order was received very quickly and the part I liked best was that you kept in touch with me. You can't understand how important that is (or maybe you do because you do it - it is a way to keep a customer). I used to be in marketing. While I was placing an order from you I was trying out another supplier. My emails went unanswered, absolutely no communication as to where my order was - I had requested a form of shipping and it went totally ignored. Their products came in the cheapest packaging for shipping that I ever saw. And they never let me know that they were out of an item I ordered until I got the invoice with the package - it was on the invoice.
Once again, thank you for your interest in getting me my product and ensure that it came on time.

I ordered on Wednesday and my order was her on Tuesday! Just FOUR buisness days! I picked up my goodies at 9 and had all my goodies created by 11! SO MUCH FUN! I am totally addicted!
