Polysorbate 20 vs. 80

1. There wasnt any Polysorbate 80 so i figured id give this one a try for making my perfumes as a substitute and i have no issues with it. Works great 🙂

  2. A good basic solubilizer, affordable and effective. I’ve used it in a wide range of products with consistent success, as both a primary solubilizer and a co-emulsifier. It does not have much of an odour, but avoid using it in products for lips, as it tastes terrible.

  3. I wish this wasn\’t your only solubilizer. I\’ve used it at 1:1, 2:1 and even a bit more and I find it still separates in my room sprays, with a oily/foamy white layer on top of the water. It still needs to be shaken before use. I\’ve used Peg 40 Hydrogynated Castor oil from another supplier and have found it works quite well, but I prefer to order from SB. I\’ve also heard good things about Polysorbate 80 but haven\’t tried it myself. Please consider another solubilizer!
