Floral Waxes |
| |
| |
Fragrant Floral Waxes are a wonderful way to add floral scents to cold-processed soaps, candles, solid perfumes, and more. Floral Waxes are the perfect addition for creating luscious lip balms, exotic solid perfumes and fabulous salves and ointments.
When melting floral waxes, we highly recommend using a double boiler or a microwave at very low temperature. We do not recommend placing the wax in a pan under direct heat as this may cause the wax to scorch.
To use in solid perfume or lip balm, we recommend melting the amount of floral wax required and adding a small amount of jojoba (or oil of choice) and mix well. Pour into containers.
For creams & lotions add to the oil phase of your recipe.
Floral waxes are lovely when added to cold process soap. Floral waxes are reputed to give a harder bar of soap.
