Energizing Himalayan Sea Salt Scrub Recipe

Salt and sugar scrubs are an easy but indulgent way to refresh and revitalize dull, irritated skin.  This scrub recipe is best suited for oily/combination skin types.

himsaltcitscrubPerfect for sensitive skin, Apricot Kernel oil offers a light, non-greasy oil that leaves skin with a velvety texture.

Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil is a purifier of congested, oily and acne prone skin, which makes it a wonderful addition to creams and lotions as a natural toner. This uplifting scent is reputed to ease nervous exhaustion, relieve depression and to ease muscle fatigue and stiffness.

Ylang-ylang essential oil has a floral scent that is sweet, and exotic, while also being extremely effective in maintaining moisture and oil balance of the skin to keep the skin looking hydrated, smooth, and young.

The combination of these ingredients with a Himalayan Sea Salt base creates an invigorating scrub which remove toxins, reduces pore size, hydrates and rinses clean.

Energizing Himalayan Sea Salt Scrub

Ingredients:

500 ml Himalayan Sea Salt – Fine

250 ml Apricot Kernel Oil

10 drops Grapefruit Pink Essential Oil

5 drops Ylang Ylang 1 Essential Oil

Packaging Suggestions:

Amber PET Jar – 8 oz with Black Ribbed Lid 70-400

 

Directions:  Mix ingredients and store in an airtight jar.

To use:  Apply to skin in a circular motion, using gentle, even pressure. Rinse with warm water.
