An herbal tea bath often consists of base ingredients that will soften skin and can be adjusted to create a variety of recipes. We have included one of our favourite bases to help you get started.
Herbal Bath Base
1/2 cup powdered milk
1/4 cup sea salt
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon corn starch
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup dried herbs (your choice)
Common herbs used in tea baths are lavender, rosemary, chamomile, sage, mint, bay leaves and basil depending on your preference.
