The weather is colder and the air is damp … it’s time to warm up and relax. Finally, bath season has arrived!
Mostly everyone LOVES to run a hot bath accompanied with salts and fragrant bubbles … but what about bath teas? Why not make your own blend of gorgeous botanicals and have them mingle with beautiful essential oils? There is something undeniably therapeutic about steeping your bath water.
Depending on who you are, what you love, or what purpose in particular you are aiming to achieve … you can make a bath tea to suit your need!
For those of you who prefer to use pre-mixed botanical blends .. Saffire Blue has already done the work with their Romance, Detoxifying, Cold-Relief and Relaxing Blends.
For those of you who would like to mix and blend your very own bath teas… we have a suggested list of ingredients to use below. However, we want you to know that you are not limited to what is listed … there are SO many options … so have fun and …. happy blending!
Recipe: Skin Softening Goats Milk Bath Tea
4 tbsp. Goat Milk Powder
3 tbsp. Lavender Buds
2 tbsp. Himalayan Salt (either coarse or fine)
2 tbsp. Shea Butter (Shredded/Un-Melted)
5 drops Lavender Essential Oil
Mix first four ingredients together in a bowl and follow by adding the
drops of Lavender Essential Oil.
Package in a Large Tea Bag or Large Muslin Bag.
Yields: 1 Bath
