Lavandin is a wonderful aromatic evergreen shrub that is strongly reminiscent of the floral lavender which is extremely popular and adored by many. This plant is a hybrid that grows at a low altitude. True Lavender grows at a high altitude and the cross pollination between the plants is what makes Lavandin. What is fantastic about this is that Lavandin is easily grown and has a significantly higher yield during the steam distillation process making this oil less costly for the consumer.
It should be mentioned that Lavandin is known to be much stronger and potent in comparison to that of Lavender 40/42 due to the camphorous undertones noticeably present in the Lavandin oil. This oil has a distinguished floral aroma.

Il convient de mentionner que le Lavandin est connu pour être beaucoup plus fort et puissant par rapport à celui de lavande 40/42 en raison des nuances camphorous sensiblement présents dans l’huile de Lavandin. Cette huile a un arôme floral distingué.

This is a very high quality strongly scented Lavender. A few drops in my diffuser at night and I am relaxed and off to dreamland. It’s worth the higher price point.
Love this EO! Actually smells like Lavender, unlike Lavender 40/42. It’s not a really strong Lavender, which I like, but it’s very pretty.
