Description
Petitgrain oil (meaning “Small Grain” in French) gains its name from the fact that it used to be extracted from small unripened oranges of the plant. Petitgrain oil has a woody, floral and orange smell. Botanically, it is similar to Neroli and Bitter Orange, however, all have their own unique aroma due to the different ways in which they are distilled. Petitgrain is distilled from leaves and twigs which exhibits it’s fresh woody scent.

Essential oils in sizes 30 ml or larger are not packed with dropper lids.
L’huile de petitgrain (qui signifie « Petit Grain » en Français) tire son nom du fait qu’elle était extraite de petites oranges non mûres de la plante. L’huile de petitgrain a une odeur boisée, florale et orange. Botaniquement, il est similaire à Neroli et Bitter Orange, cependant, tous ont leur propre arôme unique en raison des différentes façons dont ils sont distillés. A little more woody than I would have thought but I am new to perfume making so new to certain fragrances as well. It has it’s place and I have made some really nice perfumes with it.
Clean and fresh, not for everyone, but if you are looking for a clean scent, this is it! Love it in the home, acceptable for both males and females. just simple clean
This is a great mixing EO to add complexity to other citrus EO’s. Used in CP soap. No problems in the EO mix containing 0.5% of weight in Oils (2% total).
