You will need to add a sweetener as per the below:

They are food grade, oil soluble and made from all natural flavours – nothing artificial and no alcohol. Our flavour oils are gluten-free.

Our flavour oils are formulated for “flavouring” not “scenting” products therefore, they cannot be used in soap making for fragrance.

Our flavour oils have both a taste and scent. The flavour is a natural taste that is most often improved with the addition of a sweetener, such as stevia. The flavour oil scent is received by the olfactory bulbs which sends the scent to the brain. The addition of a sweetener offers the tongue the sensation of sweetness, which enhances the perception of the flavour by the brain.

Suggested usage rate: 4% or 4ml/4g to 100ml/100g of basic lip balm mix. A bit of experimentation may be necessary. It is always best to start low and work up to the desired level of flavour, as over-flavouring is common with these concentrated flavour oils.

Our Natural and Organic Flavours are created and produced with all-natural and organic plant-based materials. The term “natural” or “natural flavouring” means the essential oil, oleoresin, essence or extractive, protein hydrolysate, distillate or any product of roasting, heating or enzymolysis which contains the flavouring constituents derived from a spice, fruit, fruit juice, vegetable or vegetable juice, edible yeast, herb, bark, bud, root, leaf or similar plant material or fermentation products thereof, whose significant function in food is flavouring rather than nutritional. We include the natural essence or extractives obtained by plants.
